Seniors Benefit from a Taste of Spring

A Taste of Spring benefits the Norwalk Senior Center and Meals on Wheels
"A Taste of Spring" will raise critical funds for both The Norwalk Senior Center and Meals on Wheels on Thursday, May 13 from 6-9 p.m. at Aitoro in Norwalk. Six highly acclaimed chefs, from Basso Cafe, Strada 18, and other local restaurants and food stablishments will dazzle guests with their creations. There is also a raw bar of oysters and clams and wine, beer, and soft drinks, provided in part by a donation from Stew Leonard’s.
Among the evening's live auction gifts available for bidding are a New York Yankees jersey hand-signed by Alex Rodriguez and tickets to the U.S. Open. A silent auction includes Jewelry from Agabhumi Best of Bali and restaurant gift certificates. Norwalk Mayor Richard A. Moccia is the auctioneer for the live auction. There is also a raffle.
